After the Haiwatha trail we went to Kellogg and stayed at the Silver Mountain lodge so we could enjoy the indoor water park. What fun! It was really family friendly and I can't say there was a sad face anywhere. Something for everyone for sure. They had this really fun family tube ride that I even snuck on, not to be disapointed. Maybe we can make this a yearly tradition.

Haiwatha 2010
We went with 6 other families to ride the Haiwatha trail this year. We got up pretty early and drove to the trail head to get started. Miracles of miracles the weather cooperated and we had a great ride. No blood was drawn and all went well. After the trail we drove to Kellogg Idaho/Silver Mountain to spend the night and enjoy the super fun indoor water park.

Visit from Grandma and Grandpa
Grandma and Grandpa surprised us with an unexpected visit! They arrived on Saturday the 5th and stayed through the weekend and a few extra days. They even brought some nice weather with them. We had a great time. We roasted marshmallows, BBQ'd pizza, went shopping, went out to eat, chased some snakes, went on fun walks, read books and played games. I even beat everyone at Ticket to Ride-which is a first for me. We are so glad they came our way and spent time with us.

Josie - So BIG!
Just wanted to take a minute to spotlight Josie. We are officially potty trained, knock on wood. My kids are so great about deciding when they are ready and once that decision has been made Wa la... very few accidents and everyone is so happy! She is getting to be much noisier lately. She loves going to the store and loves playing with Conor or blaming Conor or bossing Conor. She adores reading and has her favorite book memorized (Maisy goes shopping.) She loves watching Curious George and will watch the same episode over and over again. When it is over she will say: More Monkey mama More Monkey!! That a girl!
