We drove out to Gunlock reservoir to see if the water was trickling over...no luck. Maybe another year. We did get to play in some soft, smooth sand here though. We stopped for an overlook into Snow Canyon. We did a lot more swimming and biking, but I didn't manage to get any pool pictures. You know you are having a good time or you've been to a place so much that you are happy comfortable with out pics. We will miss you St. George!
After we left southern Utah we buzzed up to Provo and we were able to do an early morning session at the new Provo Tabernacle temple. We took a little bike ride up to Bridal Veil falls, we met Katy at Sodalicious, and we met anyone who lives within 100 miles of Provo at Brick Oven.
One final stop in Idaho Falls. We met the Robinson's at Denny's as we drove through on our way home. We miss them so very much.

Kannaraville Fills Hike
We finally were able to do this hike! We have been wanting to try it, but it is usually just a little to cold when we are in town. The weather cooperated and we decided we could stand the icy water temperatures. What an amazing hike, we loved love loved it. The scenery was incredible. The water was FREEEZING! Our toes were so so cold, they defrosted and it was well worth it. You have to walk up the middle of the river to get to the awesomeness. We ended up having to carry Lincoln a lot of it because the rocks were slippery and his toes were so cold. There are 2 sections that you have 2 climb a log ladder up a small waterfall. All for the adventure! Can't wait to do it again.
Spring Break Red Cliffs
This is one of our very favorite hikes. We beat the crowds this year and were the first to arrive. We love the scenery and all the climbing. Such a beautiful place!
Spring Break Mountainbiking and Happy Birthday to Me
Happy 40th to me! My birthday present was to go on a super fun ride with the love of my life. We rode out on the Zen trail and found this cool over hang ledge for a 40th picture op. I am grateful that 40 hasn't slowed me down all that much. I definitely feel old often, but I am so blessed to have good health and a wonderful life. The rest of these pictures are some of my favorite mountain biking photos.
Spring Break in St. George 2016
We made it to St. George once again for spring break Grandma and Grandpa Nielsen kept the light on for us! Made the all night drive and wasted no time getting to the fun. We swam, chased frogs, went mountain biking, flew the drone, ate lots of yummies, played games and celebrated birthdays. Conor officially entered into his teenage years. I am now the Mom of a teenager. Conor chose to have his favorite angel food cake and he got some fun presents...of course the favorite is the mobile phone. We needed to get him a phone so we could track his blood sugar with the new DEX 5. Pretty cool how it sends blood sugar read outs to both Mom and Dad's phone. Happy Birthday Conor!
