Weekend with the Payne family

We finally made it back to see the Payne family. I don't know why we stay away for so long. We have so much fun with them on their "farm." We started our day with a little horseback riding, some chicken chasing, and Conor went rat hunting. We then headed out to the Point Defiance Zoo. We don't have a zoo close to us, so we were thrilled to see the animals, it was especially fun to feed the budgies and touch the sting rays. After the zoo we took a ferry ride, just for the sake of riding the ferry, then back home for the traditional taco night.

6th Grade Camp

Conor went to 6th grade camp and Kevin tagged along as a chaperone. The place they hold the camp is the same place Conor goes every year for diabetes camp, so he felt right at home. It was a fun experience, so I hear. They could have done with out the snoring Dad in their cabin, but other than that it was good.

Some spring fun

Spring is here! Baby chicks at Big R, some hammerin at Home Depot, some flower planting, a piano recital, some bike riding, some joy riding, a band concert and a not so fun shower rip out.
Look at this cute Josie Chick...we were so sad they wouldn't let us hold one
-The Concentration

How to Train your Dragon-4 sharps!  He rocked it

-Headed to school with  Bailey

-I adore this picture of Lincoln!  So happy to be riding with Daddy.
-Cameron, Riley and Conor-the best carpool band ever.  Such great kids
-The 2 lonely french horn players
-Conor switched to the french horn recently and really likes it, he will most likely play both the trumpet and french horn from now on.
Not a happy moment at our house-$3000 dollars later we have a nice new shower, not something we planned for or really wanted.   Grrrr.  Stinkin, lazy, cheap builder.
-Love my cuties!

Spring soccer

Time for spring soccer again! This spring we signed Lincoln up for a JR. soccer experience. It would be an understatement to say he loved it! His soccer day was on Friday and he woke up every day asking me if it was Friday. He looked forward to it so much, and was really sad when it was over.

Josie continued her season with the Smashing Watermelons, she adores coach Mike and they are really out there to have a fun time, no pressure at all.  The best part about this spring season is that we had unusually great weather.
