SSSSSsnake?

Meet Liz the snake
Josie running away
Proud owners-
Kincaid, Conor and Keagan

This weekend was filled with fun at our house, Conor had a soccer game and then we brought home the Mcmurray twins to play the day away. Having 3 wild 7 year old boys together can be a little noisy but very fun. They mostly stayed outside which is very nice and they chased and harassed this poor snake and bounced on the trampoline for hours. All 3 boys are in the same class at school and Conor is especially fond of Kincaid. They are connected at the hip from what I hear from his teacher. Josie was not happy with the new pet. She was screaming and crying and running for cover. I find it very interesting that no one taught her this reaction...hmm..I guess a boy vs girl trait?

One More Easter Picture

Josie in her Easter dress.

I finally broke down and bought Josie a dress, I scored on my delay though, because it was after Easter and it was 1/2 off. YEA! I think she looks adorable. Not a bad buy.

A Few Easter pictures

The Easter bunny found us! Josie and Conor were excellent egg finders. They had found all the eggs in hardly any time at all. The each got a cute little book and the standard chocolate bunny, and way too much candy. Josie at one point had at least 12 jelly beans in her mouth...no joke, she would open an egg and literally dump the contents into her open mouth. What a mess. We had a great day watching conference and spending time together. We even managed to make some sugar cookies for Conor to take to his school class for his B-day. Everyone pitched in on the frosting and rolling of the dough, Josie maybe pitched in a a little too much help, but if more mess equals more fun then she had a blast. We had a few friends over after conference to eat cake and ice cream and help celebrate birthdays.

Showing off the loot.

Love her happy face, just wish I was a better photographer.

Who can be mad at a face like that?

Birthdays

We had a crazy weekend at our house. It was Conor's birthday on the 3rd and my birthday on the 4th and Easter and Conference all rolled into 2 days. Can you have too much fun??? NO WAY. Conor celebrated his Birthday by going to see the movie How to tame a Dragon and then colored easter eggs, opened a few presents and then was thrilled to be allowed to play his new video game - Big game hunter, to his hearts content. He chose to have taco's for his special dinner and we agreed to share a birthday cake together on my birthday. He even let me choose the kind, as long as I made it. Dad managed to be gone most of the day with a YM hike and then Priesthood, but we celebrated with out him.

Birthday Buddies- Chocolate Heath Angel food cake!!!!
Even if I had to make it myself, it was delish!

Conor the 7 year old!

Happy to finally open presents!

Disney Trip Review

March 19- We left Spokane airport and headed to Orange County. Conor thought we were going to Utah. The flight went great - except I lost my cell phone, another story. Grandma and Grandpa picked us up at the airport and we were off to find some dinner and Costco to stock up on some groceries. Conor finally decided we were in California but didn't really mind.

March 20-We hit the pier, Balboa island and finally the pool. Jen and Chris stopped by to say Hello on their way out of town after their fun at Disney. Fun to see them. We celebrated Kevin's B-day and even found a cake and some candles-Kevin and Grandpa had to get creative to get the flame for the candles, toasters don't make fire well but good thing there was a BBQ 2 flights down.

March 21 - Off to church. After the meeting we walked right across the parking lot to the beautiful Newport Temple and grounds. We wandered around and took some pictures. We then let the kids play at the beach for a few minutes before we were off to dinner with Uncle Kent and Lee who live about 10 minutes from Disney.

March 22 - Off to Disney!!!! We told Conor we were going to the beach again, but he was on to us. When we finally got to the parking lot I asked him where we were going and he said Disneyland. He was very excited. Here are a whole bunch of pictures of our day.

Oh the beloved carousel...we had to pry Josie off of this ride

Thunder Mountain-one of Conor's favorites

March 23 - Magic morning at Disney. We had to get up at 5:45 so we could get to the park by 6:45 to be one of the first in. Early but so worth it! We ran right to the finding Nemo Ride and hopped right on and then we hurried to all the other fun typically crowded rides. Indiana Jones, Space Mountain, Buzz Light year, Star Tours etc. We were lucky enough to ride most of the rides we really liked at least twice if not more. Fast passes that Grandma and Grandpa didn't want made for an extra ride as well-YEA! Since we got to the park so early we skipped out early and went back to the condo for a swim and a rest then back for the electric parade. Josie was mesmerized.
Our Driver for Indiana Jones
A small reprieve on the train

We are in the back two seats-Conor loved this little Goofey roller coaster.

One would think you would tire of wearing these ears?? Not Josie...she loved them.

March 24 - So tired this morning. We decided to relax at the beach and pool and shop around at the amazing fashion island. It was a good rest.

March 25 - Back to California Adventure. Today we rode Screamer 3 times and we all loved Toy Story, saw the mini Aladin show. Soarin, Tower of Terror and all the other good stuff.

March 26 - Homeward bound. Our flights home were on these tiny little planes for some reason. We had to walk out on the tarmac and climb the stairs-pretty fun. What a fun and spectacular fun trip. There is just something about Disneyland...
