Lincoln @ 3 Weeks

I can't believe it has been 3 weeks since little Lincoln joined our family. I wish I could say that life is back to normal at our house, but now I fear I don't know what normal is. I forget how much time it takes to keep a newborn happy. Give me a few more weeks and maybe we will be back to a routine, but for now we are enjoying the excuse of a little one, to stay home and snuggle up his innocence. Lincoln is a fabulous baby, he has been sleeping through the night almost since the day he came home, and unlike my other kids, he spits up minimally (I hope by typing that I didn't jinx myself.) Josie still hasn't held him, but she has finally accepted that he isn't going anywhere. She alerts me anytime he is crying and she has become very tolerant. I have left the house a few times with all 3 and survived. I actually made it to our 9:00 church on time last week. Miracles of miracles, and that is with zero help from Kevin who leaves for meetings by 7:00. Little by little we are making the transition into a "functioning" family of 5.

How sweet is he - you finally caught up with me - 3 is a fun but challenging number - I agree with Melissa - I think he looks a lot like you!

Beautiful pictures! I love the one of his feet :)

And making it to church with all 3 this early after birth - yes, you deserve a good pat on the back...

YOU ARE AMAZING! I just made it to church last week-for the first time, without Matt, at 11 am with all of my kids and Brynlee is 8 weeks old-you deserve a medal! He is too sweet and I envy the fact that he is sleeping through the night! What's the trick? I would pay money for that one!
