Signs of Summer

Summer is in full swing! Here are a few pictures I managed to take. Sometimes I forget to take pictures of the simple day to day things that make our lives so full and blessed.  After we went to Lake Powell, Conor immediately packed his bags and headed to scout camp.  He had a really great experience this year and he came home so kind and respectful.  I received multiple compliments from adults who interacted with him there who were so impressed with him.  Makes my heart melt. Summer means a little time out on the mountain bike trails, swimming lessons and tons of time spent with the neighborhood friends.  Hours on the trampoline and of course eating ottor-pops.  I have an endless supply of otter-pops.  Taste of summer for sure.  The kids found 2 little baby quails to cuddle with.  We tried to keep them alive but they didn't last.

One final sunrise as we were breaking up camp and going back to the slip. The Moenkopi is part of the family and we are so grateful that we get to enjoy the time at Lake Powell on such an amazing boat and with the best family anyone could ever ask for.   

We got to see baby Leland when we got home and we got to go meet brand new baby Harper!  She was only 4 days old!

We stopped and had breakfast with the Robinson's as we headed back to Spokane.

On the road to Lake Powell finally! We love driving in the motor home and the excitement of the fun trip ahead is unbearable!  We got the houseboat out and campsite set up and we wasted no time having tons of fun!  There are tons of pictures that really need no explaining.  We had a full moon the whole time we were there, so there were some cool moon rises.  We saw many beautiful sunrises and sunsets also.  The weather was really nice...ultra hot, we are talking 108 to 110.  We had a really fun crowd and made so many great memories.  Conor and Lincoln were on a Sea Doo about non stop, everyone water skiied, and tubed and cliff jumped and swam and swam and swam.
