The San Juan Islands

And we are off again.  Today we are headed to the San Juan Islands to meet the Shoemakers and have a weekend of fun and exploration.  We ended up leaving in the middle of the night so we could drive to Anacortes to catch the ferry.  The oh so exciting ferry.  Lincoln was pretty excited.  The ferry ride over was sunny and brrr cold but beautiful!  When we got to Friday Harbor we had a few hours to kill so we went to the beach and did some exploring.  The beaches are full of driftwood and shells and lots of treasures, and beautiful views.  We finally met up with the Shoemakers and had so much fun catching up.
