Lincoln was doing so great on his strider bike that we figured it was
time to start him on a pedal bike. I love watching him ride his
strider, but he was dying to pedal. We were sure it would be pretty
simple for him and we were right. Piece of cake for him. He got on,
Kevin gave him a little push and he was off. The only part that was
hard for him was the start and stop. Give him a few hours and he got it
all figured out.
As soon as he got the pedal down we
took the family on our first official family mountain bike ride. We
went out to Riverside Park and rode a fun single track trail for a few
miles and Lincoln did amazing. We have been waiting for this day for
just about 11 years. We are looking forward to lots of family bike
rides.
The Sanders invited us out to their beautiful
property for a bbq and some four wheelin. The kids were in heaven
riding the doon buggy and the zipline and the four wheelers. Josie even
tried her hand at driving and she did really well.
The
kids love to go to the kids workshop at Home Depot. If we are in town
and Kevin has time he usually takes them, but this Saturday Josie and
Lincoln wanted to go so I decided to take them. It was fun to hang out
and use a hammer with them.
