Our Memorial Day Weekend

The Shoemakers came to visit! We sure miss these guys. We got to hang out like old times, play games, eat dinner and catch up on the fun they are having out in Vancouver. We long for the day they might return to Spokane, but sadly friends come and go in Spokane,  mostly go.

The exciting news of the year at our house is that we finally got ourselves a boat!!!!!!!!! I cannot begin to say how excited I am that we finally are an official boating family. For years we have wanted to get one, but we just couldn't justify paying for it, since the season is so short here.  We decided the only way to go for it is to get some families to go in on it with us.  We talked the Smith's and the Osmun's into joining us, and we are now the proud owners of a Malibu Wakesetter.  She is a beauty and so much fun.  We plan to spend as much time as we can on the water this summer and we hope to explore a lot of the lakes that are within a few hours of here.  I feel so "grown" up when ever we take it out.  It makes me giggle to actually put that in print. 
Boat:  A hole surrounded by water into which we throw money into.  Bring it!
