Camping with the Renchers

Summer means camping! We are always up for a camping trip, and the Rencher's had been wanting to go for a while now so we finally got a weekend that would work for us, we reserved a spot at the Mud Hole and we started counting down the days. We neglected to tell Mother Nature, can you say Rain???? We set up the tent between storms and then prayed for the best. It was soggy that is for sure, but it turned out really fun. The kids scootered around for hours, played on the playground, threw rocks in the river and smiled the entire time. We enjoyed some good eats that is for sure. Dutch Oven cooking and smores at their finest. On Saturday we decided to warm up with the car heaters and dry off a bit and go hiking up at Schweitzer. I hadn't ever been there so I wanted to see what if was all about. The rain was merciful and we were able to go on a fun little hike. We stayed long enough to let the tents dry out and it was back home with some fun memories in our pockets.
